Saturday junior competition
MPNA runs two seasons each year for players from 9 & Under beginners through to 18 & Under.

Winter Season: Starts the Saturday after Labour Day and runs through to August

Spring Season: 8-week season beginning Week 1 of Term 4
All games are played at our outdoor home courts at Elsie Dorrington Reserve, Hampden Street, Mornington.
To participate in our Saturday competition, players must be affiliated with a club.
We warmly welcome new clubs and always enjoy meeting new players and families.

Monday indoors
Our Monday evening competition welcomes club-affiliated and independent teams, with a focus on fun, participation, and building community.
We run two seasons each year:

Autumn: Terms 1 & 2

Spring: Terms 3 & 4
Games are held at Civic Reserve, Mornington, running from 6:45pm to 9:30pm.
The competition features both a Mixed section and an 18 & Under section, giving players of all abilities a chance to get involved, improve their skills, and enjoy the social side of netball.
Wednesday indoors
Our Wednesday senior evening competition is open to club-affiliated and independent teams, with a focus on fun, participation, and community engagement.
We run two seasons each year:

Spring: Terms 3 & 4
All games are held at Civic Reserve, Mornington, running from 6:00pm to 9:45pm.
The competition features Sections A–E, with a minimum age of 15 years, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to get involved and enjoy the game.

Team info and fees
Team Captain

Each team must nominate a team captain (or delegate)

Captains are responsible for reading and understanding the MPNA by-laws, which outline key competition rules

Teams must follow all competition rules
Game format

Quarters are eight minutes each, with short breaks in between
Competition entry

Spaces are limited, and some competitions may operate on a first-in, best-dressed basis

Affiliation fee (once per year, per team, inclusive of GST):

1–3 Teams: $44
